About Us

Born from the diaspora. Built for game night.

Desvergue started with a simple idea: El Salvador deserved its own lotería — one that actually sounds like us, looks like us, and makes us laugh the way only we can.

We grew up hearing the words on these cards. We grew up with the tías, the maitritos, the pajeros, and the cheles at every Salvadoran gathering. We grew up knowing that there is nothing funnier that hearing Salvadorans talking in their natural accents.

So we made that into a game!

What is Desvergue?

Desvergue is a Salvadoran style lotería card game packed with 54 illustrated cards, each featuring an iconic character, phrase, or experience straight from Salvadoran culture. It's lotería — but 100% Guanaco.

Who made this?

Desvergue was created by a Salvadoran kid who grew up in Houston surrounded by the words, sayings, and characters that make our culture one of a kind. Growing up, the humor, the slang, and the unforgettable personalities were everywhere — at every family gathering, every game night, every random meeting at Marshall's and Ross. This is a love letter to El Salvador, one card at a time.

For the diaspora, by the diaspora.

Whether you grew up in El Salvador or were raised hearing stories about it, Desvergue is for you. For the family reunions, the quinceañeras, the cookouts, and the random Friday nights when you get together with family and friends.

Vaya pues— let's play!
